PawDuePrivacy Policy
PawDue ("PawDue", "the app") is published by Zmer Andranigian ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with information. The short version: PawDue has no account, no advertising and no analytics, and we do not receive the records you enter.
What you enter
You can enter pet profiles, care schedules and records, vaccine records, veterinarian details, and journal entries with notes, photos and short videos. This information is stored on your device. We run no servers that receive it, so we cannot see it.
iCloud sync (optional)
When sync is offered and you turn it on, your records are copied to your own private iCloud database so they can appear on your other devices. That data is held by Apple under your Apple Account. We cannot access it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's privacy policy.
Location
PawDue asks for your location only when you tap "Search near my location" in the vet search. The location is used once to run the search through Apple Maps and is not stored by PawDue or sent to us. Apple receives the search as part of providing Maps results. You can search by city or postal code instead, without sharing your location.
Camera, microphone and photos
PawDue uses the camera and microphone only when you record a photo or video for a journal entry, and reads your photo library only for the photos or videos you pick. Media is stored on your device. PawDue removes location information (GPS) from the photos it saves.
Notifications
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a server. By default the lock-screen text is generic; you can choose to show pet and care names.
Purchases
PawDue Plus subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or Apple Account information. The app checks your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, sell or share personal information.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking tools, and the app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data.
- We do not build profiles of you or your pets.
Sharing and exports
When you export a PDF or data file, or share a journal entry, you choose where it goes (for example Mail, Messages or Files). Whatever you send is then handled by the app or person you send it to, not by us.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. In Settings, "Delete all my data" removes your records, photos and videos from the app, and deleting the app removes its local data. If you use iCloud sync, you can also manage the synced copies in iPhone Settings > your name > iCloud.
Children
PawDue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
